The Organization for Social and Health Advancement in America/ DBA OSHAG, is a 501c3, "OSHAG is dedicated to the empowerment of the Guyanese community through Health Education and Referral Services. Our Goal is to enhance the well being of Health and Social Standards in all of the communities we serve," through training, Continuing medical education (CME) and annual Medical Missions.In the month of October each year the organization sponsor a medical mission team to Guyana. The need this year (2017) is provide service to hinterland hospital, the need is for a pediatrician and Gynecologist to travel with the team.
