Maaka Orphans and Widows Associations Uganda (MOWA-UGANDA) is a community based organisation which was born out to holistically address the health,social and economic issues that affect orphans,widows, vulnerable children and women then the elderly groups. Hence with that need for the better living for the above groups we perceived it undisputable to responsible through this community based organisation in eastern Uganda.Therefore the purpose of this C.B.O was out need for better health services,love and concern for caring members to assist the vulnerable communities.

Looking at the community’s welfare, it is clear that mbale district has a number of problems that make it lag behind in terms of development of health. This is very particular in the areas of inadequacy in delivery of this service. The quality of health services offered to the population is limited as well poor, contrary to the fact that the world is now in the modern era of dot com.

This document has restricted itself to addressing the specific problems as per the quick assessment done during the previous year and designed to take care of some specific critical priorities only.

This paper is strategically documented to show the magnitude of the problems and the different areas affected most. This presentation is therefore a true reflection of the health challenges and other problems faced by the local persons in the area.

Some places in Mbale district do not have nearby health centre so patients have to move long distances in order to receive the medical attention, this means they reach late, sometimes when they are in bad state and unable to be helped in time hence loss of life sometime even when they would be saved, this is even worse for the pregnant women who majority have failed to give birth under supervision of a qualified medical personals.

MOWA -UGANDA is seeking support to help her give quality and affordable health services. She intends to construct a modern health centre with all the facilities. Hence she is seeking for potential medical Volunteers and sponsors who can assist her in construction of health center that will free delivery services in pregnant women and also provide general health care assistant.
