GRACE
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Inspired
by our Christian values and in response to the Great Commission, we have
identified and introduced three principal solutions to all the needs
of the people, the communities and the countries that we serve: Jesus, Education, Work (JOB). True
change comes from within, in order to really help change a life we must first
start with the heart. We provide health-care, education, spiritual
guidance, Children's feeding programs, youth/Senior ministries and empowered
living to families and all those in need within our reach.
GRACE
MISSION STATEMENT
Our
mission is to follow the command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in working
with the poorest of the poor and oppressed, promoting human transformation by
breaking the cycle of spiritual darkness, poverty, sickness,
chronicle-dependency and ignorance, as we RESCUE, RELIEVE, RESTORE and
EMPOWER.
GRACE PROGRAMS,
SERVICES & IMPACT
Operating
since 1974, Grace International was founded by Bishop Joel and wife Doris
Jeune, who together oversee and lead the organization in the roles of President
and Vice President. For the past 43 years, Grace International has
been impacting lives through the oversight and management of many
churches, 70 schools, 3 orphanages, as well as a medical/dental clinic, a
pediatric hospital, a home for elderly widows, vocational school and Community
sustainable villages.
Within
these programs and facilities, Grace International also operates a feeding
program, various learning centers as well as seasonal and annual
conferences. The bases of the organization's work in Haiti is Grace
Village, located in the county of Carrefour. In the State of Florida, United
States Grace International is impacting many lives of Dade and Broward Counties
residents.
After
the earthquake, more than 25,000 people sought refuge at Grace
Village, making it the site of the second largest internally displaced camp in
Port au Prince. Grace International is now working to resettle many of
the people living in this camp, and create small communities that are models of
holistic, sustainable and industrious living. In 2011 Grace International has
been registered as a NGO (Non Govermental Organization).
We thank you for your love and support.
