Afya Bora Africa is a Kenyan based Charity which seeks to improve Health outcomes by strengthening health systems and policies for grassroots organizations in Kenya.

The main area of strategic focus is strengthening health systems and policies to respond to the burden of communicable diseases (e.g. HIV, TB, Malaria) and the rising burden of non-communicable diseases (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, cancer). Other areas of concern include neonatal and child health, youth health, maternal health, violence and injuries and minimizing exposure to health risk factors.

We build partnerships, linkages and exchange programs with health care workers, academics and faculty, as well as health care students to participate in this global health program through the two flagship projects: the Global Health Education Exchange (ABA Global Health Academy) and the Volunteers’ Program for qualified health care workers.
